Nepal Tarun Dal convention postponed till September 19

KATHMANDU: The fourth general convention of Nepal Tarun Dal, a sister organisation of Nepali Congress, would take place from September 19 to 21.

The NTD General Convention Directive Committee member Ram Krishna Yadav told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti that the earlier schedule had been postponed for lack of preparedness.

Earlier, the convention was scheduled to be held on September 9-11 in Pokhara.

The Directive Committee was formed under the leadership of NC central committee member Bal Krishna Khand to provide necessary directives to hold the general convention on time.

There are 1,370 delegates taking part in the convention from across the country as per the statute of the organisation.
