KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Prasad Pokharel on Sunday said that the carbon emission from other countries was affecting Nepal.

During a programme organised by the Environmental Development and Conservation Legal Forum to launch a 'Environmental Law Journal' on the occasion of World Environment Day, Minister Pokharel said that Nepal was forced to bear the brunt of carbon emission from the western countries.

The Journal was  jointly launched by Minister Pokharel and Justice Ananda Mohan Bhattarai.

Saying that many forms of pollution including the visual pollution were the direct result of human activities, Minister Pokharel said the government and private sector must work to control it.
