Nepali Congress whip to lawmakers for no-confidence vote

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party Nepali Congress on Friday issued a whip to its lawmakers urging them to be present at the Parliament meeting scheduled for coming Thursday, when the House is scheduled to begin discussion on a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Party's Chief Whip Chin Kaji Shrestha issued the whip and told lawmakers who are currently in Kathmandu not to leave the Capital before the discussion.

Likewise, the party lawmakers who are currently outside the Kathmandu Valley are instructed to report to the NC Parliamentary Party office by Sunday.
