Nepali robots to enact Lord Krishna’s feat

Kathmandu, August 27:

A 10-member team of engineering students is leaving for Pune on Friday to take part in an international robotic competition.

The team, from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, will field its robots in the competition to be held in the Pune-based Maharashtra Institute of Technology on Sunday. The robots were designed by a team of 11 students.

The robots named ‘Yeti’ were prepared after eight months of hard work. The robots will compete under the theme ‘Govinda’ demonstrating the act of stealing butter from a raised pot.

Team leader Dinesh Twanabasu said they were really excited to take part in the competition.
