New Linux version
KATHMANDU:
The Red Hat-sponsored Fedora Linux project has released version 8 of its operating system with a host of new features, including Nepali language support. Nepali language support has been added into GNOME, KDE, Openoffice.org Firefox/ Thundebird.
This means the operating system can now be localised in Nepali. Based on version 2.6.23 of the Linux kernel Fedora 8, which comes free of cost, it includes the recently-released GNOME 2.20 desktop environment.
