New Supplies Minister vows to ease delivery of fuel at earliest

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Minister for Commerce and Supplies Ganesh Man Pun said the government was working hard to ease supply of petroleum products to Nepal.

The government is exploring diplomatic and other kinds of alternatives to ease the supply and give respite to public, the new Minister informed while talking to journalists at the Reporters' Club in Kathmandu today.

"I am serious about difficulties people are facing due to problems in supplies," Pun said, "I will make the supply system easy anyhow, by implementing all types of means."

Expressing a commitment to solve the issue at the earliest, the UCPN-Maoist leader said the government was seriously working to lift obstructions at Indo-Nepal border points.

The government will not leave any stone unturned to give relief to people, he said.
