KATHMANDU: Newar’s National Forum on Thursday expressed its concern over the November 7 act of the Tamsaling Joint Struggle Committee to declare a ‘Tamsaling State’. Issuing a statement, the Forum maintained that a single caste could not declare its state at a time when a number of indigenous nationalities were struggling for their identity. Such a decision would create dissatisfaction among various castes, it added.
