NHRC draws government attention towards agitating Dr KC’s life

KATHMANDU: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged the concerned authorities to resolve tussle between the government and Dr Govinda KC through negotiation and dialogue.

“The agreements reached by the government in the past in relation to medical education should be seriously considered and a solution should be sought through dialogue and talks,” reads a statement issued by NHRC Secretary Bed Bhattarai today.

A team from the commission took stock of Dr KC’s health condition at the TU Teaching Hospital today.

Meanwhile, the Commission has drawn the government attention to protect Dr KC's life, who is staging his 16th fast-unto-death demanding reforms in the medical sector in Nepal.
