Niroula representing Nepal in 'Microsoft Power Point World Championship' in US
KATHMANDU: Aarambha Niroula (14), a 10th grader at the Kuleshwor Secondary School, is representing the country in the 'Microsoft Power Point World Championship' going to be held in Texas, America, from August 9 to 12.
Niroula outdid some 5,000 competitors for the same. Although Niroula emerged as ‘Nepal top’ three months ago, the good news was not disclosed yet as the school was completely damaged by the 'Gorkha earthquake’, said school Principal Meghraj Dulal.
Niroula secured cent percent marks out of 1000 full marks. Niroula prepared a modality of a working paper on Microsoft Power Point determined by the Microsoft Company in America in 20 minutes against 50 minutes. The Company has already given a certificate of 'Microsoft Specialist' to Niroula. Nepal has been participating in this championship since 2013.
Himal Sharma of Chelsea School was the first time winner of the championship from Nepal while Niroula is the Nepal top, representing the country in the championship for the second time. He could not go to America for the championship in 2014 as he could not get the visa, despite becoming the Nepal top. A total of 120 countries in the world participate in the championship.
