No govt change sans national consensus, says Rayamajhi
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and CPN Maoist Centre leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi said the incumbent government would not topple unless there was the national consensus.
He said forming a majority government by replacing another majority government would only bring instability in the nation.
Speaking at an interaction at the Reporters' Club in the Parliament today, Rayamajhi said a national consensus government was needed to implement the new Constitution and work for the national prosperity.
"Now, the national consensus government is more important than the government change," he said, "The context is not yet set for the government change."
He was of the view that the incumbent government had not been accused of inefficiency yet.
