KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Justice Deepak Raj Joshee has said that there is no reservation on part of the Justices to disclose their properties.

Speaking to media personnel in Kathmandu, today, Joshee said, "Justices would not carry any reservations on disclosing their property details if the government comes up with a law to that effect."

"The issue of property disclosure by justices has come to the fore. There is no such law in this regard as of now. It would not be a big deal if the government framed law on property disclosure applicable to justices," Joshee added.

Moreover, the Acting CJ lambasted media for giving high priority to wrongdoings of the judiciary and ignoring good verdicts.

Urging the media to study reforms carried out by the judiciary sector, he said that inadequate human resource has led to delays in justice delivery.
