KATHMANDU: As part of their campaign to put pressure on political parties for a timely statute, a delegation of Nepal Students Union (NSU) on Wednesday met CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal.

The delegation led by NSU president Pradip Poudel urged Khanal to pave way for political stability and conclusion of peace process through cooperation, consensus and unity among political parties. According to Ram Prasad Adhikary, chief Press and Publicity Department, NSU, Khanal clarified that his party was committed to the peace process and drafting the new constitution. Earlier, NSU delegation had met Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.
