NSU dissidents bag top posts in Tri-Chandra
Kathmandu, March 4:
Rebel candidates of the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) won two top posts in the Free Students’ Union polls of Tri-Chandra College in Kathmandu.
Deepak Bhattarai, a rebel candidate, has been elected FSU president of the campus.
According to the result, NSU rebel candidate bagged the post of vice-president, too, whereas All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU) candidates won secretary, treasurer and two members.
This is the first time the ANNFSU candidates have been elected in the campus. NSU affiliated with the Nepali Congress-Democratic won the posts of joint-secretary and two members, campus election commission said.
