KATHMANDU: Police said a man was arrested in possession of 26 iPhones that were imported evading customs, from a guesthouse in Thamel on Monday.

Rajan Bhatta (27) of Dhading was taken in custody from Namaste Guesthouse where the expensive smartphones were stashed away.

Police said the Lainchaur-based Metropolitan Police Centre swung into action after receiving a tip-off about the iPhones.
