KATHMANDU: A man was critically injured in a scooter accident at Besigaun in Gokarneshwor Municipality-15, on the outskirts of Kathmandu, on Tuesday.

The identity of the man, who appeared to be in his mid 20s, is yet to be established.

The incident occurred after he lost control of the two-wheeler (Ba 39 Pa 7866) yesterday night.

He was initially taken to the Nepal Medical College, Attarkhel for treatment and then referred to the Bir Hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the scooter and looking into the case.
