KATHMANDU:  A person was critically injured in a motorbike accident in Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur district in the wee hours of Thursday.

The injured has been identified as bike (Ba 17 Pa 1072) rider Shyam Bayalkoti (29) of Palase, Suryabinayak.

He is being treated at the Madhyapur Hospital.

The incident occurred at around 1:45 am.

According to police, Bayalkoti was riding the bike under the influence of alcohol when the incident occurred.
