KATHMANDU: A man died after the motorcycle he was riding on met with an accident in Bhaktapur district on Tuesday morning, police said.

Police have identified the deceased as Ganesh Dulal (34) of Gairhi Beni in Kavre district, currently residing at Radheradhe Ashram in Bhaktapur.

Dulal was riding his motorcycle (Ba 88 Pa 280) when he crashed into a container vehicle (Na 6 Kha 5640) near Manohara Bridge at 4:30 am today, critically injuring him, according to police.

Dulal breathed his last at B & B Hospital, informed police.

Meanwhile, Thimi-based Metropolitan Police Circle has impounded the container and detained its driver for further investigation, said police.
