KATHMANDU: A man, who was seriously injured after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Madhyapur Thimi in Bhaktapur on Monday, breathed his last in course of treatment at the Madhyapur Hospital in Thimi.

The identity of the man, who appeared to be in his 50s, is yet to be ascertained, the Metropolitan Police Cricle, Thimi informed.

The incident occurred at around 11 pm yesterday.

Police said that they are searching for the vehicle driver who fled the scene after the incident.
