OPMCM concerned over delay in reconstruction of valley roads
KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has expressed concerns over delay in the reconstruction of Kathmandu Valley roadways which were dug out for installing water pipes by the Melamchi Water Supply Project.
Various sections of roadways in the Capital are left damaged for long causing inconvenience to people's and vehicular movements, the OPMCM said, directing the bodies concerned to immediately do the needful to resolve the problem.
A team from the OPMCM on Saturday inspected Sinamangal-Old Baneshwor and Battisputali–Dilllibazar-Ratnapark road sections and urged the bodies concerned to complete the maintenance on time, according to OPMCM Secretary Shanta Raj Subedi.
