PADT lock out lifted
Kathmandu, November 3:
Lock out at the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) and four other offices was lifted today after a meeting between protesting staffers of PADT and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Pradeep Gyawali ended in a positive note.
Staffers had locked the PADT and four other related offices on September 9 demanding reinstatement of 65 employees and formation of a committee to probe into the embezzlement of fund in the PADT.
Kul Prasad Upadhyay, unit chairperson of the All Nepal Workers’ Association, said that they lifted lock out after the minister agreed to fulfil their demands.
