KATHMANDU: Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday congratulated Bidhya Devi Bhandari on her election as the President of Nepal.

In a congratulatory message, President Hussain also expressed hope that Pakistan–Nepal bilateral relations would strengthen and expand further in the days to come.

The Pakistani president also extended best wishes for the progress and prosperity of the people of Nepal.
