Pandey to speak at Raisina Dialogue

KATHMANDU: Director of the Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) Nishchal N Pandey is speaking at the “Raisina Dialogue”  India’s flagship conference being organised by Observer Research Foundation and Ministry of External Affairs of India in New Delhi from March 1-3.

The Raisina Dialogue  which is India’s maiden version of famous ‘Singapore-based Shangrila Dialogue’  is designed to examine the prospects for Asian integration and discuss India’s vital role in Indian Ocean and how India with its partners can build a stable and prosperous world order.

Dr Pandey will be speaking to the panel on “Regional Cooperation on Border Management”.

With participation of 100 speakers from 35 countries, including former president of Sri Lanka Chandrika Kumaratunga, former foreign minister of China Li Zhaoxing, the conference will be hosting several Indian cabinet ministers including External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Information Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
