Speaker meets top leaders and chief whips, House meeting yet to begin
KATHMANDU: The Parliament meeting, scheduled for 1 pm, has not started till 2:45 pm.
Hoping for consensus among political parties over the constitution amendment bill that is under its consideration, the House had been postponed for 13 days till today.
Meanwhile, Speaker Onsari Gharti is holding a meeting with the top leaders of major political parties, including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, and the chief whips of parliamentary parties to discuss the schedule of today's House meeting at the Parliament building, according to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.
The meeting is expected to take a decision on how the bill on constitutional amendment would be proceeded.
