Parliament starts discussion on Vehicle and Transport Bill
KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Monday has unanimously endorsed a proposal tabled in the meeting to discuss the Vehicle and Transport Management (Second Amendment) Bill, 2016.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak presented the proposal before the meeting.
Meanwhile, responding to queries raised during the discussions, Minister Lekhak said that the government had made the decision to introduce the Bill to the House was made a year ago with a view to ease discomforts experienced by the persons with disabilities while travelling on public transport vehicles.
