A meeting of the Joint People’s Movement Coordination Committee today decided to organise

further protest programmes across the country against the February 1 royal takeover. A grand protest meeting will be held on June 13 at Madhyapur Thimi at 4.00 pm where central-level leaders from all seven parties will adress the gathering. Rallies will be organised in all the district headquarters against ‘autocracy’ on June 17. A protest rally will also be organised from 3.30 pm at Sundhara in the capital the same day. The committee will organise another meeting tomorrow and take other ‘major decisions’, committee members said. It has urged all sections of society to participate.
