PG course on Buddhism study at TU

Tribhuvan University, central department of Buddhism Study Centre, is to run post-graduate course on Buddhism study from this year.
A total of 21 students have already been enrolled for the course for the coming session.
Only those who have completed one year graduate course after completing bachelors degree can study the post-graduate level in Buddhism study, chief of the department Dr Nareshman Bajracharya said.
The curriculum includes the Buddhism tradition, history, religion, philosophy, Buddhist arts, research, situation of various religions, Buddhism culture of the Himalayan region and Buddhist tradition in Asia in the two-year course, department chief Bajracharya said.
Students need to pay only Rs 10,000 for the two-year post-graduate course, he said.
The students will also get instruction in Nepali language. There is an attraction in the study on Buddhism throughout the world in the recent days.
