PM calls meeting of all parties including NC for Sunday evening

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an all-party meeting for Sunday evening to discuss the issues about the unofficial blockade imposed by the southern neighbour and the agitation of Madhes-centric parties among others.

The meeting would be held at the PM's residence, Baluwatar at 6 pm today.

According to PM press advisor Pramod Dahal, the PM has called the ruling parties as well as the opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) for the discussion to solve the current problems aroused by the Madhes-centric parties' agitation and blockade imposed by India.

CPN-UML, Unified CPN-Maoist, Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal and Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum- Democratic and the main opposite party NC among others are called for the discussion.

Earlier, NC had proposed a High Level Political Committee or Parliamentary Committee for solving the concerns raised by the Madhes-centric parities.
