KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday held discussions on latest political situation and preparation for third phase of local level elections. During the meeting held at Baluwatar today, they discussed on various issues related to country's latest political development, preparation for third round of local-level election and security for the same, according to PM's Secretariat. The CPN MC Chair urged PM Deuba to make government's activities effective', informed Chairman Dahal's Press Coordinator, Manohari Timilsina. Similarly, a discussion was also held on the US visit of Prime Minister Deuba to attend the United Nations General Assembly and matters to be raised by Nepal in the UNGA. PM Deuba is leaving for New York for the UNGA on September 19. The duo also discussed on the issue of preparation for the provincial and parliamentary elections.
