KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is holding a meeting with the CPN Maoist Centre Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Baluwatar this afternoon.

In the ongoing meeting, the top leaders of both the parties are discussing current political situation including the National Assembly election and appointment of provincial chiefs among others.

“Both the leaders are talking about the ongoing political scenario in the country,” informed PM Deuba’s media advisor Govinda Pariyar.

“The National Assembly election might be held on February 8 as per the suggestion made by the Election Commission,” he added.

Top leaders of the parties are attending the meeting.
