PM Fund gets more financial aid

KATHMANDU: The Rural Development Bank has provided more than one million rupees to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief and Rescue Fund to help relief and rehabilitation task for quake survivors.

At a programme organised at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar this morning, Bank Chairman Malikratna Shakya handed over a cheque equivalent to Rs 1.37 million to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

On the occasion, PM Koirala said that he was aware not to allow the misuse of financial support provided for the support of quake survivors.

Different people including Chief Executive Officer at the Bank, Dharma Raj Pandey among others were present on the occasion.
