PM assures development of his Siraha constituency
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Puhspa Kamal Dahal on Saturday assured that he would take initiatives for the construction of an airport and a trauma centre in Siraha district.
Addressing a delegation representing Siraha district in Baluwatar, PM Dahal expressed his commitment for the initiative which would benefit Siraha, Saptari and Udayapur among other districts of eastern Nepal, a statement issued by the PM’s Secretariat informed.
PM Dahal was elected as lawmaker from a constituency no 5 of the district.
Dahal further said that efforts would be made to construct a well-facilitated trauma centre along the East-West Highway.
Likewise, PM and the CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Dahal also informed that he had also taken initiatives for development of infrastructures including drinking water, road, agriculture, health and education in the district.
During the meeting, the delegation including former Minister Bishwanath Sah and captain Dev Kumar Lama had handed over a memorandum to PM Dahal requesting the same.
