PM calls entrepreneurs to extend support for local level elections

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged entrepreneurs to provide necessary support to the government for successful completion of the upcoming local level elections slated for May 14.

PM Dahal said so while inaugurating the 51st General Assembly of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in Kathmandu on Monday.

Meanwhile, Dahal assured the businesspersons that a trade-conducive environment in the country would be created in the upcoming federal system.  He further informed that there would be no double taxation.

Dahal also wished a successful term for the FNCCI's President-elect Bhawani Rana.

The CPN-Maosit Centre Chairman also claimed that the economic environment in the nation turned positive in his premiership and there were noticeable changes like management of electricity service by ending power cut-up, enactment of the law for special economic zone and passage of important bills regarding industrial development during his present term.
