PM urges pro-change forces to unite against anti-poll conspiracy

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Puspha Kamal Dahal on Thursday urged ‘pro-change forces’ to unite against the conspiracy forged to thwart and disrupt the local level elections slated for May 14.

Speaking at a party unification programme at Parisdanda, the Prime Minister claimed that after the local level elections, which is going to be held for the first time after the historic political change, the administrative powers exercised from Singhadurbar would be delegated to the local bodies.

The Prime Minister also claimed that Communism is the scientific and the latest doctrine for the emancipation and freedom of humans in the world.

So, he pledged to unite the various Communist parties including the Maoist revolutionary forces operating in the nation in order to take the Communist revolution to the logical conclusion.

On the occasion, Dahal-led CPN Maoist Centre and Tanka Rai-led Nepal Communist Party announced the unification.
