KATHMANDU: A police constable was injured after being hit by a motorcycle in New Baneshwor on Tuesday.

The injured has been identified as Bharat Yadav.

Police said that the speeding bike (Ba 38 Pa 5706) hit Yadav at around 9 pm yesterday.

Yadav is being treated at the Civil Service Hospital in New Baneshwor.

Police said that they have impounded the bike and arrested its rider for investigation.
