KATHMANDU:

The Valley police on Saturday arrested five persons on charge of hooliganism. The arrested are learnt to have been involved in many robberies. According to the police, Ramratan Khadka, 22, of Sindhupalchowk, Rajan Lohani, 23, of Kavre, Jiban Tamang, 24, of Dolakha, Arjun Lamichhane, 36, of Kavre and Devi Lal Gurung, 34, of Sindhuli of Sindhuli were arrested from different parts of the Valley. The police said that they were arrested with khukuris and iron-rods. An official at the KDPO said those arrested have confessed their crime.
