Politics delay Melamchi

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Planning and Works Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar on Saturday said that Melamchi drinking water project could not be completed on time due to poor political management system in the country.

He claimed that Asian Development Bank (ADB) has been assisting the project because of his role and added, "ADB would have withdrawn if there was someone else in the ministry."
