Consensus govt in the offing: Pampha Bhusal

KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre Spokesperson Pampha Bhusal said her party had already begun the preliminary works to form a national consensus government.

Speaking at an interaction in Bhaktapur on Sunday, Bhusal, however, made it clear that the party would not be recalling its ministers from the government anytime soon.

Bhusal expressed her confidence that other Maoist leaders would also join the Maoist Centre very soon.

"It is only a matter of time before Baburam Bhattarai, Mohan Baidya and Netra Bikram Chand will join the Maoist Centre and work together for everybody's benefits," Bhusal said, "The Maoist Centre is capable of taking agitating Madhes-based parties to the government by addressing their legitimate demands."

Bhusal further claimed there was a presence of foreign interference in the mainstream political course of Nepal.

She also called for initiatives to implement an agreement recently signed between governments of Nepal and China regarding opening various China-Nepal borders.
