KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appealed to all voters to exercise their franchise  in the local level elections being held for the second round tomorrow.

Giving a message on the eve of the election today, President Bhandari reminded the constitutional need of holding all three-tier of election within coming January 21 and said the local level elections carry equal significance to this end.

The President has expressed belief that the ongoing elections would equip the local levels with rights and responsibilities, which would pave the way for socio-economic prosperity.

"I call all Nepali sisters and brothers to make the elections successful so that the constitution gained through the historic Constituent Assembly with long struggle would be implemented well," President Bhandari said in the message.
