President urges PM to prepare for elections

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday urged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to make necessary preparations for holding elections by incorporating all sides.

The Head of the State said so while the PM paid a courtesy call on her at the latter’s official residence, Sheetal Niwas, in the Capital today.

According to PM’s press advisor Govinda Acharya, Prime Minister Dahal had briefed President Bhandari about the contemporary political development during the meeting.

In response to a query of President Bhandari, PM Dahal shared that the Constitution amendment bill was registered in the Parliament expecting to incorporate all’s feeling to forward the political courses ahead.

Acharya further shared that it was a regular meeting.

Meanwhile, President Bhandari extended best wishes to PM Dahal on his birthday.
