Prez Yadav inaugurates Ramdev’s yoga camp

KATHMANDU: A five-day free yoga camp kicked off in Tundikhel in the capital today.

President Ram Baran Yadav inaugurated the yoga camp, organised by the Patanjali Yogpeeth Nepal.

Noted yoga guru Ramdev, who arrived in Kathmandu yesterday, is conducting the yoga camp.

The camp has been organised with an objective to create positive thinking among the Nepali people by providing physical and mental fitness through yoga and ayurveda, said Om Bansal of Patanjali Yogpeeth Nepal.

The yoga camp will be conducted from 5am to 8am till Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam and Chief Justice Ramkumar Prasad Shah, among other senior government officials, also attended the camp today.
