PM owns one kattha land, three tola gold

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed he owns only one kattha land and three tola gold.
According to property details of the prime minister and other ministers made public by the Office of the Prime Minister today, the PM stated that he had inherited the gold and land from his parents.
As per the details, the PM is the poorest compared to ministers in his Cabinet.
Likewise, Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara claimed he owned only eight ropani land in Liwang of Rolpa district and a balance of Rs 80,000 in Everest Bank.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi said he owned 60 tola gold, 150 tola silver and around Rs 4 million cash in his and his wife Anamika’s accounts in various banks, 2160 unit shares of Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Hospital and Agriculture Development Bank.
Likewise, Home Minister Nidhi has one ropani and 13 ana land in Bhaktapur, over 20 bigha land in Tarai in his and his family member’s possession. He also owns 16 kattha 9.5 dhur housing plots at various places in Janakpur and a Nissan vehicle.
Similarly, Urban Development Minister Arjun Narsing KC has around nine ropani housing plots in Kathmandu and Lalitpur and a house in about one ropani land at Gongabu, over 55 ropani land in Okharpauwa, about four ropani land in Bidur, the district headquarters of Nuwakot and a house.
Likewise, Minister KC has 50 tola gold, 525 tola silver, 2,250 unit shares and over Rs 15 million in various banks.
