KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 474,000 was stolen from a rented room in Budhanilakantha Municipality of Kathmandu on Sunday.

Police said unidentified thieves barged into the rented room of Chandra Pun through a window in Rudreshwor, Budhanilakantha-4 and made off with Rs 22,000 cash, Hong Kong Dollar 1,600, mobile set and watch.

While looking for absconding suspects, police have launched an investigation into the case.
