KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 475,000 was stolen from an unattended rented room in Nayabazaar, Kirtipur of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Police said Rs 75,000 in cash and gold ornaments weighing eight tola were stolen from the room of Man Bahadur Basnet, a permanent resident of Maheshwori-2 of Khotang district.

While looking to the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
