KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 173,000 were stolen from a money transfer agency in Kapan Saraswatinagar of KMC-6 on Tuesday.

According to police, unidentified gang broke into the Kapan-based Miracle Money Transfer and made off with a gold chain and Rs 146,000 cash.

Police said that the gang had broken the padlock of the back door to enter the building.

Police are searching for the them and looking into the case.
