KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 1.86 million was stolen from a garment shop in Badegaun, Godavari Municipality-10 of Lalitpur district on Saturday night.

Police said unidentified thieves had targeted the Ma Chandreshwori Garment Shop at the house of Rajesh Kumar Kayastha.

They had entered the shop by breaking the rear door and made off with Rs 200,000 cash and various garments.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
