Property stolen from Tebahal rooms

KATHMANDU: Cash and valuables worth around Rs 825,000 was stolen from two rented rooms of the same house in Tebahal, KMC-11 on Tuesday.

Property worth around Rs 820,000 was stolen from the room of Yasodha Basnet, police said.

According to the a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves sneaked into the room of Basnet, a permanent resident of Chapagaun-6, Lalitpur, after matching the door key  and decamped with Rs 200,000 in cash, silver ornaments worth around Rs 20,000 and gold ornaments worth around Rs 600,000.

Similarly, unidentified thieves stole Rs 5,000 in cash from the room of Durga Parajuli, a permanent resident of Barahachaur, Parbat.
