Property stolen from unattended Gongabu room

KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 170,000 was stolen from an unattended rented room in Gongabu of Kathmandu district on Sunday.

Police said the thieves had targeted the room of Putali Shrestha, a permanent resident of Bharatpur-2 of Chitwan, in Gongabu, Tokha-14.

The thieves had barged into the room by breaking the padlock and made off with Rs 20,000 cash and gold ornaments, according to police.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
