KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 1,100,000 was stolen from a rented room in Kapurdhara of KMC-26 on Tuesday, police said.

According to the police, an unidentified gang broke into the space rented by Mukunda Shrestha in Sakubahal Hunuman Street and made off with INR 50,000 cash and various gold and silver jewelleries.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway and search is on for the perpetrators, said police.
