KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs. 111,000 was stolen from a rented room in Nikesera, Madhyapur Thimi-3 on Thursday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves sneaked into the room of Bhogendra Lamichhane from the veranda and whisked away with Rs 27,000 in cash, a laptop and a mobile phone yesterday night.

Lamichhane is a permanent resident of Leguwa, Dhankuta.

Police said they are looking into the case.
