KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 3.5 million has been gutted in a fire at Mahakavi Marga in Dilli Bazaar, KMC-33 on Sunday.

Police said an electronic short circuit had sparked the fire at the house of Dev Mani Bhattrai.

Meanwhile, locals along with Nepal Police, Armed Police Force personnel and a fire engine doused the fire.

Police said they are looking into the case.
